1. Hotel Claremont (1890-1892)
This handsome, Colonial Revival structure was built by a group of local entrepreneurs at a time of flourishing industrial development for Claremont to replace the Tremont House which had stood in the center of Tremont Square from 1823 until 1879 when it burned. Hotel Claremont was later purchased by William H. H. Moody who renamed it the Hotel Moody. It now houses a bank and offices.

A 2001 Emergency One “Quint”. Equipped with a 75’ aerial ladder with a pre-piped automatic water way, a 1500 gpm pump and 500 gallon plastic water tank. This vehicle also carries 1000’ of 4” supply hose, RIT equipment and all applicable fire suppression equipment. Ladder 1’s responsibility is the second due ladder to emergencies within city limits as well as the mutual aid
Rescue #1
A 2000 Hackney rescue body on a HME SFO cab and chassis. It carries all of our medical and rescue equipment for vehicle extrication, confined space, heights and water rescue. Rescue is equipped with a light tower, cascade system, and a 25 KW PTO generator. It is used as a command post and for rehabilitation.
Car #1
Fire Department command Vehicle is used by the Fire Chief, is a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4 that carries applicable communications, suppression, command, and medical equipment.
Brush #1
A 2009 GMC Sierra 3500, powered by a 6.2L gas motor. Brush 1 carries 225 gallons of water, as well as a compliment of brush fire fighting tools, hose, and extinguishers. Brush 1’s responsibility is to any brush fire/off-road emergency within and outside of city limits.
